Nine unused samples of reproduction wallpaper in the "Dandelion Stripe" pattern by Waterhouse Wallhangings, Inc. Wallpaper has a vertical stripe pattern with two alternating stripes. One stripe has highly abstracted dandelion leaves atop two large solid stripes. The other is a highly abstracted eyelet lace motif. Both are roller-printed on a mottled or speckled background. Pattern is based on an American hand-blocked wallpaper found in the parlor of an early house in Contoocook, NH which dates from 1810-1825. Six different colorways are present: 2001.281.731.1 -- Orange, brown, white and gold on a beige ground; 2001.281.730.2 -- Yellow and white on a gold ground; 2001.281.730.3 -- Yellow, white red, and brown on a gold ground; 2001.281.730.4 and .5 -- Green, white and two blues on a beige ground; 2001.281.730.6, .7 and .8 -- Orange, white, brown and black on a blue ground; and 2001.281.730.9 -- Red, white and blue on a beige ground.
