Thirty-six copies of a pamphlet advertising "The Pilgrim's Fulfillment," a forthcoming book by Robert A. Thompson about the history of the Cape Cod Canal beginning with the pilgrims in 1623. Each copy of the pamphlet has hand-written notes regarding the price of the book and the author's mailing address in Onset, Mass. Enclosed in each pamphlet is a copy of a certificate of investment which an investor could fill out and send to the author.
