Description

Six unused samples of reproduction wallpaper in the "Eagle Hill" pattern by Waterhouse Wallhangings, Inc. and distributed by Katzenbach and Warren. Wallpaper has all-over pattern of simple stylized floral rosettes alternating with smaller floral sprigs arranged in horizontal rows. Paper is an adaptation of an English block-printed wallpaper dating from 1790-1810 which was found in an old house near Eagle Hill in Bourne, MA. Samples are present in five different colorways: 2001.281.735.1 -- Pale green on cream ground; 2001.281.735.2 -- Orange on brown ground; 2001.281.735.3 -- White on yellow ground; 2001.281.735.4 -- Gold on purple ground with textured paper; and 2001.281.735.5 and .6 -- Green on blue ground with textured paper.
