Fragment of flocked wallpaper border. Pattern of centered, beaded rosettes alternating with small floral and leaf springs. The two elements are connected with symmetrical, elongated and stylized acanthus leaves that flank the rosettes, forming a central, longitudinal main design. Upper band of vertical stripes and lower band of black flocking. Upper edge pattern of zigzags with dots, lower edge pattern of vertical striping. Block-printed in black and black flocking over metallic gold on gray ground.
