Five unused samples of reproduction wallpaper in the "Gore Place" pattern by Waterhouse Wallhangings, Inc. and distributed by Katzenbach and Warren. Wallpaper has an all-over pattern of flowers including roses and morning glories. Flowers and trailing foliage are outlined by several rows of very small pindots. Pattern is based on block-printed French wallpaper dating from 1780-1810 that was hung in the oval dining room at Gore Place in Waltham, Massachusetts. Four colorways are present: 2001.281.745.1 and .2 -- Blue, greens, peach, pink, white and black on a dark beige ground (#139506); 2001.281.745.3 and .4 -- Blues, greens, pinks, white and brown on a metallic silver ground (#139159): and 2001.281.745.5 -- Blues, greens, peach, pinks, yellows and white on a cream ground (#139635).
