Description

Photograph of "Gore Place" wallpaper used in the dining room of Gore Place in Waltham, Massachusetts. Wallpaper was a French block-printed paper dating from 1780-1810 and was later reproduced by Waterhouse Wallhangings, Inc. It is not known if photograph is of original wallpaper or the reproduction. Photograph is in grays and white; however, several flowers and leaves on one edge have been hand-colored.
