Description

Four fragments of wallpaper border with pattern imitating architectural molding and hanging finials. Upper band of oval figures above a row of beads. Lower band with carved hanging finials and horizontal striped shadows. Block-printed in grisaille palette of white, three grays and black on tan ground. Fragments (B, C, D) match together.
