Two unused samples of reproduction wallpaper in the "Tapestry Floral" pattern by Waterhouse Wallhangings, Inc. Wallpaper has an all-over design of stylized flowers and foliage in imitation of a tapestry or other textile. Pattern is based on a wallpaper found in the Cotuit, MA house that belonged to sea captain Alvin C. Burlingame (1820-1854). Two colorways are present: 2001.281.771.1-- Pink and metallic silver on a pink ground (#130829); and 2001.281.771.2 -- Cream on a blue ground. Pattern was also reproduced by Katzenbach and Warren.
