Pattern is a reproduction of a circa 1829 wallpaper chosen by John Quincy Adams for use in the formal sitting room of the Old House, Quincy, MA (now part of the Adams National Historical Park). The 1829 paper was an American adaptation of a Jean-Baptiste Reveillon design.
