Description

Unused sample of reproduction wallpaper frieze in the "Watkins Glen Frieze" pattern manufactured by Bradbury & Bradbury as part of their "In the Dresser Tradition" roomset. Wallpaper has a highly abstracted repeating lotus flower motif bordered on the top and bottom by a row of circles between two horizontal stripes. Screen-printed in metallic gold, metallic bronze, green, black and mauve. Pattern is derived from an English or American roller-printed paper from 1875-1890 based on a Christopher Dresser design.
