Two fragments of block-printed wallpaper from Centerville, Massachusetts. Pattern of small red and white floral rosettes alternating with smaller red floral sprigs. Probably ungrounded paper. The wallpaper was covered by pages of the Boston Cultivator farm journal dating from circa 1849-1850, see 2001.281.957.2a-d. The same wallpaper was also found in Bourne, Massachusetts, see 2001.281.956. The wallpaper pattern was reproduced as "Eagle Hill" by Waterhouse Wallhangings.
