Red silk crepe dress, broad neckline; "V"shaped front with fabric tucked at shoulder, draped over bust, and stitched in place with band of red statin piping; same band at shoulders and at princess seam at back; long sleeves are smocked from armseye with - ruffle and red satin ruffle creating effect of short oversleeve; sleeve is full from ruffles to cuff; tucks stitched in place at outer edge above cuff; red satin piping around neckline; armseye and side seams; self-piping at sleeves and cuffs; wide waistband, with coin at left front; bodice is boned at center front and lined with linen; sleeves lined with brown cambric; cuffs lined with green & red plaid silk; skirt has full pleats all around; with cartridge pleats at center back between shoulders; hook & eye closure at back and cuffs; skirt lined with red wool.
