Description

Fragment of diaper-pattern wallpaper from the Captain Snow House, Provincetown, Massachusetts. Repeating diamonds formed by lines with geometric diamond and concentric circles frame Gothic-style quatrefoils. Roller-printed in light cream and metallic gold on cream ground. The paper is affixed to paperboard and includes fragments border paper (see 2001.281.969.2). The pattern was reproduced by Warner as "Provincetown Geometric" in the 1950s.
