Description

Unused sample of reproduction wallpaper in the "Primer Tales" pattern by Thomas Strahan Company. Wallpaper has a series of round medallions formed by floral and foliage garlands. Each medallion contains a vignette in the style of a wood-block print. Vignettes depict figures in nineteenth-century dress who are engaged in a variety of activities, including children fishing, playing and reading. Round medallions are separated by diamond-shaped medallions formed by floral and foliage garlands. Roller-printed in browns, blues and pinks on a beige ground.
