Description

Rectangular white linen damask cloth; central Romanesque woman holds scepter (?) and wreath. Framed by flowers and C-scrolls; cartouche underneath with title. Cloth framed in entwining thistle vines and flowers, C-scrolls and ribbon. In corners "Wisdom" holds Bible and lamp. "Justice" holds scales and sword. "Clemency" extends olive branch. "Fortitude", a man in Romanesque armor with sword, rests on pillar of "Trade & Navigation".
