Fragment of an uncut roll of wallpaper borders from Lexington, Massachusetts. The paper is printed with three borders per width. The border pattern is swags of pink fabric edged with white ribbon hanging from a thin strip of architectural molding. A spray of pink and gold roses is centered on every other swag. A molded acanthus leaf figure hangs over the alternating swags. Roller-printed in gray, three pinks, two shades of peach, red, three greens, gold and black on white ground. The paper is embossed with a scroll pattern.
