Fragment of a roll of uncut wallpaper panel borders. The paper is printed with two straight borders and a border intended to run horizontally along the top of a sidewall. The horizontal border has T-shaped corners at regular intervals where vertical borders could be attached to create panels. The borders have a floral pattern of pink and gold roses and other flowers with foliage and blue ribbon. On the straight (or vertical) borders, the flowers are arranged in sprays along blue ribbon. On the horizontal border, the flowers and ribbon drape into gentle swags and a pair of butterflies hovers above the center of each swag. Roller-printed in two blues, three greens, gray, three pinks, red, two yellows and gold on white ground.
