Description

A black and white aerial view of the Dutch-American ocean liner Maasdam as it passes through the Cape Cod Canal. The ship is strung with ceremonial flags from end to end as it prepares to go under the Sagamore Bridge. The ship was one of the largest vessels to pass through the Canal at the time.
