Description

Fragment of a roll of uncut wallpaper borders. The fragment is printed with two borders, a third border is missing. Each border consists of a wide center band with stylized floral vine pattern in tan on metallic gold background. Flanking the center band are two narrow bands, one with a geometric diamond pattern and the other with dashes. Both are printed in two shades of brown on metallic gold. Roller-printed in two browns, tan and metallic gold on olive ground. The paper is embossed with a woven texture.
