Description

Rolled fragment of flocked wallpaper from the Chellis Estate, Wellesley Hills, Massachusetts. Large-scale damask-style pattern roller-printed with green flocking on green ground. Floral damask-style pattern features a large, circular strapwork and floral medallion framing a floral spray. Off-set from the medallion are smaller floral bouquets in vases. The medallion and vase elements are joined by draping floral swags. The paper is embossed with a horizontal ribbed texture.
