Description

Rolled fragment of large-scale floral medallion wallpaper from the Chellis Estate, Wellesley Hills, Massachusetts. Oval strapwork frames hang from a bow-knotted ribbon. The medallions frame bouquets; are festooned with flowers and ribbon; and are embellished with scrolling acanthus leaves, laurel wreaths, beads and floral swags. Block-printed in yellow on dark blue ground.
