Description

Rolled fragment of large-scale damask wallpaper from the Chellis Estate, Wellesley Hills, Massachusetts. Embossed pattern with multiple stylized flowers, including tulips, flowing from and around a stylized bowl on a stand. Large undulating trellis figures wrapped with grape vines form ogee pattern. Floral elements are embossed with multiple textures and roller-printed in pale peach and pink. The background is embossed with a vertical ribbed texture and printed with fine horizontal striping. Rose colored ground.
