Description

Fragment of flocked wallpaper the Chellis Estate, Wellesley Hills, Massachusetts. Large-scale medallion pattern formed by a floral bouquet framed by a foliate wreath. Between each large medallions is a smaller floral wreath. The entire paper is covered with brown flocking, the pattern in higher relief than the ground.
