Description

Fabric backed wallpaper sample from "the old paper shop of Mr. Childs" in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Large-scale embossed, gilt-figure of three birds landing on a neoclassical vase of fruit, branches and grasses. Small gilt-figure of bird on a nest repeats around the larger figure. Gray block-printed grasses beneath the gold leaf of the gilt-figures on white polished ground.
