Description

This bust-length portrait of a young woman depicts her in three-quarter profile facing right. She wears a dark grey dress with a neckline cut just off of the shoulders, with a fine lace collar and puffed short sleeves with lace cuffs. Her hair is parted in the middle and dressed in ringlets over her ears, with a braided chignon tied in a blue ribbon at the back of her head. She sits against a stippled green/yellow background. The portrait is in its original leather case.
