"The Cape Cod Canal: A Tale of Two Rivers"

Description

Sanford's work focuses primarily on the history of the towns surrounding the Cape Cod Canal. He provides a brief introduction of two pages regarding the history of the Canal, before the rest of the document is taken up by photographs and captions relating to the Canal towns. He devotes much of his efforts to telling the history of Bourne, and he personally thanks Fred Small, a notable photographer on the Cape. Sanford also depicts the histories of Sagamore and Buzzards Bay. The final page in the essay is an about the author page.
