Description

Partial roll of wallpaper from Thompson, Connecticut. Pattern of repeating stylized tulips framed by foliate scrolls is printed over a small-scale white geometric background pattern of chevrons and dots. Printed over the tulip pattern is a small-scale pattern of black wavy lines and dots. The under and over-printed patterns are meant to imitate the texture of a woven textile or tapestry. Roller-printed in pink, maroon, olive, blue, green, black and white on brown ground.
