Partial roll of floral wallpaper from Salem, Massachusetts. Naturalistic rose bouquets repeat at interval down the center of the roll. Pairs of smaller rose sprigs are printed along the edge of the paper between the bouquets. Pattern imitates the French block-print florals popular from 1820-1830s. Roller-printed in two greens, two peaches, orange, red, blue-gray and gray on taupe ground.
