Description

Six fragments of Scenery Figure wallpaper from Maine. Boat of men is pulled ashore by a single figure. Scene is framed by leaning trees, arched bridge and city in background. Block printed in three browns, two greens, orange, blue, pink and lavender. Irisé ground in blue, lavender and aqua within scenery vignettes, other areas have a gray ground. Pattern known as "Champlain Approaching the City" or "Champlain Scenic." Fragments have been affixed to paper.
