Description

Rolled fragment of unused wide border or frieze wallpaper from the William H. Greeley Homestead, Gloucester, Maine. Floral medallions are formed by rose bouquets printed in light greens in held by scrolling acanthus leaves framed by metallic gold foliate vines and c-scrolls. Also areas of diamond strapwork and light green rose swags. Roller-printed in white, two light greens, olive, gray, tan and metallic gold on cream ground. Manufactured by the Robert Graves Company, pattern number 6942RA.
