Description

Two rolled fragments of scenery figure wallpaper backed with canvas. Willow, bonsai and other stylized trees frame small vignettes of of Japanese figures. Roller-printed in black, maroon, green, two blues and metallic gold on ungrounded paper. Under the primary pattern is a pattern of green flecks. Printed over the primary pattern is a pattern of white, fine squiggly lines. The paper is embossed with a crinkled texture.
