Fireboard paper framed with floral wallpaper borders and backed with fabric. Removed from board. Printed paper made specifically to cover a fireboard is block-printed with an idyllic scene of three young couples in Edwardian dress punting down a stream. One of the women serenades the group with a guitar. In the distance is a large house. The paper is discolored but appears to be block-printed in greens, browns and white on light blue ground. The fireboard paper is framed by floral boarder edged with rows of bead molding. The borders are block-printed in yellow, tan, brown and gold on blue ground.
