Description

Partial roll of reproduction wallpaper in the "Toll Gate" pattern designed by Binnie B. Wilson for the Waterhouse Collection manufactured by The Warner Company, Chicago. The wallpaper has a large scale pattern of scalloped-edged cartouches enclosed in a trellis work frame. Each cartouche contains a highly stylized floral motif with a leaf garland border. Roller-printed in brown, beige, and metallic gold on a cream ground. Pattern is based on a wallpaper found in a house at a toll crossroads in Auburn, NH.
