Two partial rolls of reproduction wallpaper in the "Braintree Stripe" pattern by Katzenbach and Warren. The wallpaper has vertical stripes composed of six-pointed stars in circles alternating with stripes of a vine with feather-like leaves. Dividing these stripes are stripes with a geometric diamond pattern. Both rolls are roller-printed in gold, white, green and brown on a yellow ground. Pattern is based on a block-printed wallpaper found in the General Sylvanus Thayer Birthplace, Braintree, Massachusetts. The original wallpaper was said to have been hung in 1808 to celebrate Thayer's graduation from West Point.
