Arguing on behalf of the Bay State Canal Company, Hon. B. Wadleigh presents his case for the construction of a canal connecting Buzzards Bay and Barnstable Bay. Wadleigh discusses the differences between the Tobey Bill and the Fox Bill, ultimately claiming that Alfred Fox would do a better job on the canal than Lockwood.
