Small handmade folder used to hold family documents. The folder is one of a group of twenty-one created by Olive Percival of Los Angeles, California. This folder's label, handwritten by Percival, indicates it held the 1860 diary of her great-aunt Abby Percival of Edgington, Illinois. The folder is made from a tri-folded piece of wallpaper backed with pieces of white paper and a small interior pocket of brown paper. The wallpaper is a William Morris design titled "Lily." The pattern consists of variety of individual flowering plants such as lilies, blue bells, marigolds on a background of willow branches. The paper is block-printed in three greens, orange, blue and white on white ground.
