Handmade envelope. One of a group of twenty-two enclosures created by Olive Percival of Los Angeles, California to house family documents. The envelope, which is open at the top, is made of white paper stamped or printed with an asymmetrical pattern of small blue flowers. On one side of the envelop is a black, circular handmade stamp with stylized lettering spelling "Percival." The envelope is labeled "The Ancestral Background - (English - Colonial)" in Percival's handwriting.
