Fragment of wallpaper on narrow piece of board from the ell of the Jared Coffin House, Edgartown, Massachusetts. Wallpaper appears to be a landscape or scenery figure paper. One vignette, partially visible, is of a person riding a goat. Block-printed in black, white, orange and brown on gray ground. The fragment of wood is painted green on the back and yellow on one side. A carved out area and screw holes on the side of the board indicate the fragment once included a hinge and may have been part of a door.
