Design drawing titled "Cabinet of Mahogany" rendered in pencil on trace. Front, side and top views are shown. Music cabinet has a center rectangular case, flanked on either side by a recessed case that is shorter and narrower. Each section has a flat overhanging top with molded edge. Center case has carved molding at top and one drawer with two bail handles at the bottom of the case.Side cases have curved brackets with carved ornamentation on top. Neoclassical motifs such as scrolling garlands, swags, and urns are painted on the front of all three sections. Case is supported by eight tapered legs terminating in spade feet. Title, design notes, "for Ellis Hollingsworth" and "Det. June 29 - 1904" are handprinted in pencil. Also handwritten is "Detailed June 29 1904 K."
