Design drawing titled "Music Cabinet of Mahogany with Crotch Veneer and Inlay" rendered in pencil on trace. Front and side views are shown; plan of top is also provided. Neoclassical-style cabinet has two sections. Top section is recessed and has serpentine curved pediment with ball finials on the sides and a central inlay fan of satinwood and black wood above a crotch veneer rectangle. Top case has inlaid pilasters and two doors with ebony muntins forming a geometric lozenge pattern. Interior of upper case has nine partitioned shelves. Lower case has a drop-front writing surface with a swing hinge. Panel has two false drawers fronts with bail handles and oval backplates. Drop-front panel conceals area with arched partitioned openings and small shallow drawers. Beneath drop-front of bottom case are two doors with burl white mahogany veneered ovals. Pilasters and straight skirt of lower case have branch veneer and black inlay. Case is supported by four tapered round legs with cuffs. Interior of bottom case has four spaces to hold thirty-six pianola rolls.Title and customer name "Geo Eastman" are handprinted in pencil. Handwritten notes in pencil provide details of cabinet.
