Untitled design drawing with four views rendered in pencil on trace. Front, top, side and interior side views are shown. Chippendale-style bookcase has overhanging top with egg-and dart molding; three vertical sections with side sections recessed from center; acanthus carving on curved edges at top of sides; molded bottom rim and solid base. Side sections have open bookshelves of varying heights and widths. Center has cupboard at top with muntins forming pointed arches on glass doors and two interior adjustable shelves. Shallow drawer below cupboard has serpentine curved front with carved central oval and floral garland. Two open bookshelves are below drawer. Handprinted in pencil are: "Bookcase," "Mahogany" and customer name "J. M. Lasell." Also handwritten are design notes, dimensions, and "$195.00."
