Description

Design drawing with two views titled "Revolving Bookcase. Mahogany with Inlay and Painted Decoration" rendered in ink and pencil on trace. Perspective and top views are shown. Square revolving bookcase has four sides with two bookshelves and a panel. Case rests on a center pedestal and a base of four curved legs with brass feet and casters. Panels have painted Neoclassical motifs including a central oval cartouche, garlands and swags. Title, dimensions and design notes are handwritten in ink. Also handwritten in pencil are dimensions and the customer name "Mrs. Chas. Van Brunt."
