Description

Design drawing titled "Large Size Mahogany and Inlay Sideboard Stock" rendered in pencil on trace. Perspective view is shown. Rectangular sideboard has serpentine front; splashboard with concave curved corners; tier of four drawers above tier of four cabinets with doors and two central drawers; four cabriole legs with carved knees terminating in ball-and-claw feet; string inlay outlining splashboard, doors, and drawers; and inlaid oval paterae on large cabinet doors. Drawers have bat-wing brasses and bail handles. Title, "48749" and "Chippend(ale)" are handwritten in pencil. Also written in red is "135."
