Description

Design drawing titled "Sideboard of Mahogany Inlay & Branch Veneer rendered in pencil on trace. Perspective view is shown. Neoclassical Hepplewhite-style D-shaped sideboard has splashboard with concave curved corners; overhanging top; four central drawers which project slightly flanked by two compartments with doors; and six tapered square legs. Center panels on splashboard and above drawers have inlaid kylix and garland motifs; inlaid stringing on cabinet doors, drawer fronts and legs; and inlaid bellflowers on legs. Title, "Hepplewhite," and "48088 Sinclair (Whittemore)" are handwritten in pencil. Also handwritten in red is "756."
