Description

Design drawing titled "Sideboard of Mahogany (inlaid)" rendered in pencil on trace. Perspective view is shown. Neoclassical Hepplewhite-style sideboard has splashboard with center and end rectangular panels; overhanging top; curved end cupboards flanking three central drawers; and six tapered square legs. Inlaid trim includes fruit baskets on splashboard and center drawer panel; and stringing thoughout. Branch veneer is used on cupboards doors, drawer fronts, and splashboard end panels. Title and design notes are handwritten in pencil. Also handwritten in red is "Detail No 12658."
