Description

Design drawing titled "Serving Table of Mahogany & Inlay" rendered in pencil on trace. Perspective view is shown. Neoclassical D-shaped server with branch veneer has splashboard with center rectangular panel and convex corners; overhanging top; one shallow drawer with round pulls; medial demilune shelf; and four tapered square legs. Inlaid trim includes oval patera on splashboard panel, quarter-fans on drawer fronts and sides, bellflowers on front legs; and stringing. Title, "J. R. Andrews 48186" and design note are handwritten in pencil; also handwritten in red is "7530."
