Photo album titled: "Dining Chairs: Paired Arm and Side, Chippendale, Hepplewhite, Adam, Sheraton 10A." Title is hand printed in black on front cover; title, subtitle and volume number are hand printed in black on spine. Album has a beige fabric covering and 92 dark gray pages, some of which are now loose. Thirteen of the pages are blank. Album contains 84 mounted black-and-white photographs. Photographs are of a variety of dining chairs manufactured by A. H. Davenport Co., Irving and Casson and their successor, Irving and Casson - A. H. Davenport Co. Five of the photographs, however, may depict furniture manufactured by others. The styles of the chairs (including both side and arm chairs) are described by the compiler of the album as including:Chippendale, Hepplewhite, Adam and Sheraton. One photograph of a wing chair is also included. The order number and year are often shown on a display in the photographs; model numbers are present in some cases.
