Description

Photo album titled: "Miscellaneous: Radiator Covers, Standards, Phonograph Cabinets 15B." Title and volume number are hand printed in black on spine. Previous title on spine has been scratched through. Album has a beige fabric covering and 68 dark gray pages, all of which are now loose. Eight of the pages are blank. Album contains 60 mounted black-and-white photographs. Photographs are of a variety of miscellaneous items manufactured by A. H. Davenport Co., Irving and Casson, and their successor, Irving and Casson - A. H. Davenport Co. Items include store display fixtures, knife boxes, tables, pedestals, radiator covers, telephone cabinets, doors, phonograph cabinets, atlas stands, and sconces. Some items could not be identified. The order number and year are often shown on a display in the photographs; model numbers are also provided in some cases. Customer names are handwritten on some album pages. Named customers include: Hotel Buckminster (Boston, MA); Mrs. Charles Hubbard; Jordan Marsh (Boston, MA); Carl Kaufman (Boston, MA); J. H. Wainwright (New York, NY); William Whitman (Brookline, MA); and Wonalancet Co. (Nashua, NH). Digital images of a selection of photographs from the album are attached to this record.
