Description

The Pillar and Arch wallpaper on the walls of the central hall of the Hamilton House, South Berwick, Maine. The paper is an 1898 reproduction of the original commissioned by Emily Tyson and Elise Tyson [Vaughan]. Bouquet of flowers in an urn flanked by Corinthian columns draped with floral garlands. Block-printed in white, black and brown with brown stenciling on blue ground.
