Description

Chinese, handpainted wallpaper panel removed from the Cushing House, Belmont, Massachusetts. One of two separate but adjoining panels (see 1929.1860A) from the oval room of the house. Handpainted fruit tree, blue pot of flowers on blue stand, flowers, bamboo, flying birds and butterflies, rooster. Handpainted on light green ground.
